Refund Window

You have 10 days from date of purchase to request a refund.

Purchase date: Date payment was processed, as shown in your receipt.

Requests submitted after 10 days will be declined.

Eligibility

Eligible for refund:

  • Software doesn't work on your Mac
  • Compatibility issues with your macOS version
  • Product doesn't meet your needs
  • Any reason within 10-day window

Not eligible for refund:

  • Request made after 10 days
  • Violation of Terms of Service
  • Chargebacks (dispute through payment processor instead)

How to Request a Refund

    • Email address used for purchase
    • Purchase date
    • Order number or transaction ID (if available)
  3. 3. Wait for confirmation

    You will receive confirmation email within 24-48 hours.

  4. 4. Refund processed

    Refund issued to original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Processing Time

Expected timeline:

  • Confirmation: 24-48 hours
  • Refund processing: 5-7 business days
  • Bank/card processing: 3-10 business days (varies by bank)

Total time: Up to 2 weeks from request to funds appearing in your account.

After Refund

Once refund is processed:

  • Your license to use Capsulo One is revoked
  • You should uninstall the software
  • Download links will no longer be valid
  • No further support provided

You may repurchase at any time if you change your mind.

Payment Processor Refunds

If you purchased through Gumroad, Paddle, or another payment processor, you can also request refund through them.

Payment processor refunds subject to their policies and timelines.

Emailing us directly (edgar@codedgar.com) is usually faster.

Chargebacks

Do not file a chargeback before requesting a refund.

We honor all legitimate refund requests within the 10-day window. Chargebacks result in fees and administrative costs.

If you file a chargeback after a refund was already issued, you may be reported for fraud.

Exceptions

In rare cases, we may grant refunds outside the 10-day window at our discretion.

Examples:

  • Critical bug that makes software unusable
  • Misleading product description (not the case, but we'd honor it)
  • Extenuating circumstances
